Ed Sheeran tells Instagram followers he's quitting social media

LONDON —British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran announced he's taking a break from social media

Sharing a text post on Instagram over the weekend, Sheeran spoke of how he's found himself "seeing the world through a screen" which has lead him to switch off from his phone, emails and social media "for a while"

"I'm taking this opportunity of me not having anything to do or anything to travel the world and see everything I've missed" Sheeran writes. "To my family and friends, if you love me you will understand me buggering off for a bit, to my fans, the 3rd album is on its way and is the best thing I have made thus far." Read more...
