NEW YORK — I’m standing in Grand Central Station just a few feet from the iconic brass clock tower in the terminal’s main concourse. I step aside to let a young girl take a selfie and later watch a couple send their daughter off to college. To my right, I can see the Apple Store in the distance.
There’s no denying the power of people-watching at train stations, especially when hellos and goodbyes offer a genuine window into the lives of those around you.
But in this case, I’m not physically there. instead, I’m about 30 blocks south at Facebook’s New York office, watching the company's first original piece of content shot with its new professional-grade Facebook Surround 360 camera. Read more...
