Facebook's dumbest feature is coming to desktop now, too

People may not be using Facebook Stories, but that isn't stopping the social network from expanding the feature to its next platform.

Facebook is now testing a version of Stories for desktop, with a wider launch coming "soon," according to a company spokesperson.

The current tests are only showing up for a small segment of Facebook users around the world but will eventually roll out more widely. The desktop version of the feature allows people to view friends' Stories from their browsers (creation is still limited to Facebook's app for now). Read more...
